Atlas Restaurant Group takes additional steps after initial apology for denying service to Black family

Baltimore-based Atlas Restaurant Group — which has two restaurants in Houston’s River Oaks District — will form an advisory board focused on “corporate social responsibility” after a video emerged of a Black woman and her son being refused service at one of its Baltimore restaurants due to the boy’s clothes.

The company also fired two Ouzo Bay managers.
