Astros tourism

Forgive me as I know this is a common type of post, but I've been a diehard Astros fan since 1988 after deciding based on a Nolan Ryan card, and I have always for my entire life seen the Astros play as a visitor in other parks closer to where I've lived.

I've been attending a conference in Prairie View this week, and am excited tonight to see my first ever game in Minute Maid Daikin Park. I'm taking a colleague, so didn't splurge on a Crawford Box ticket as I'd considered, but have decent seats in right field. I'm beyond excited, as you might guess.

I'm hoping to convince my colleague to stroll around the stadium at least a little, and also have most of the day in the city on Saturday before my flight to explore. I know about some of the cool stuff in the park itself, and a couple of local bar hangout spots, but are there any other spots around Houston that a long-time Astros fan might enjoy seeing?

Thanks, everyone!
