Astros radio broadcast appreciation post

This season is what it is. But I started listening to the radio broadcasts full time instead of watching, and I just love Robert Ford and Steve Sparks. Blummer, TK and Julia are some of the best broadcasters in the game, but the radio guys do an amazing job of making you feel like you're watching the game as you listen. They're both so knowledgeable about the game and can tell you everything about both the Astros and the team they're playing, down to the high school that a player went to.

Also, the music selection for bumpers is top notch. In a single game you can get classic rock, country, hip hop, pop, indie etc. It's a great activity, especially for doing chores or driving.
