Astros fandom question

I’m from San Diego but consider myself a huge Astros fan since 2010. Growing up, I wasn’t that much of a baseball fan but if I had to pick a team at the time, I would’ve picked the Padres not knowing much about them or the sport. Just solely being from SD would’ve been my reason. I eventually just didn’t care about baseball at all and didn’t watch or “root for a team”. I wanted to get back into watching baseball and actually learn the sport so at lunch during my sophomore year of high school, I told my friends who were big Dodgers and Yankees fans ( I know, gross) I was going to start following one of the bad teams in baseball and chose the Astros. I set all my notifications on my phone to give me updates and news of what was going on. I didn’t think this would actually work but even though I was there for 3 straight 100 loss seasons, I started to love this team/ staff/ and even the broadcasting team on tv and radio, along with the players that have come and gone through the organization. I know I wasn’t there for the years prior to 2010, but still have developed a love for this organization. I’ve even flown out to Houston to watch a game in 2019 for my birthday weekend, I’ve been to a bunch of Astros Angels games since Anaheim is only an hour away from me, and of course merch. I believe I’m a real fan of the Astros but just wanted to get lifetime Astros fans opinions on if I’m a legit fan or not, not being from Houston and only being a fan for 12 years or so?
