Astros fan just getting back into watching baseball, freshly a cord-cutter. Don’t know what to do to watch every game.
TLDR; Houston-living Astros fan that wants to know what streaming services/packages I should purchase to watch every single Astros and Rangers game. ————————————————————————
What’s up people. Houston Astros fan here, born, raised, and currently living in Houston. I’m getting into the Astros this season and trying to actively watch the games at home for the first time in a while. I’ve scourged the internet, and all of this “out-of-market,” “blackout restriction” stuff is so confusing.
Here’s exactly what I want to accomplish:
- I want to be able to watch every single Astros game, whether home or away, regular season and playoffs. Essential.
- I want the exact same with Texas Rangers’ games. Essential. (PS: F the Rangers.)
- I would also prefer to be able to watch Seattle Mariners games as well, as they are #1 in our division the ALW. This is not essential.
What streaming services, plans, and/or packages do I need to buy to make this happen? MLB.tv with special packages + Fubo? One or the other? Go back to DirecTV? Something else?
Someone help me make sense of this; trying to watch your local baseball team nowadays with no cords is such a hassle and I just want a clear answer without the mumbo-jumbo.
Thanks guys.
