Astros Dominant Wins – #7

This is the seventh video of a 10-day series, highlighting the most dominant Astros wins in the last five years (2018-2022).

Game 7 – 4/24/21 vs. Angels – W,16-2

In a weird early season game against the Anaheim Angels, Odorizzi gets pulled due to an injury in his forearm. Kent Emanuel gets called in for his first major league appearance, and pitches through the remaining 26 outs in only 90 pitches. He never got an official major league start with the Astros due to an injury. As of 2023, he is a minor leaguer for the Pirates.

Everyone plays good defense and offense, with eight Astros players having 2 hits or more. A few dingers by Pujols and Ohtani are nothing but bumps on the road. Correa blasts a mammoth shot early. Yordan ropes a bases-clearing triple, his first in the majors. Angels’ outfielder Anthony Bemboom pitches the 8th.
