The very next day after the Mariners blowout, the As come to town. They actually had a decent offense that year with Semien, Canha, and Laureano. Zack Greinke faces Mike Fiers, the dirty rat who eventually blew the whistle 2 months later. Did this game change history? Only Fiers knows.

Bregman, Yordan, and Chirinos all blast dingers within the 1st inning. More bombs in the 2nd force Fiers out of the game. Yordan makes Blummer tingly with a monster blast. The game slows down from there, Greinke gives up only 2 hits and passes the ball to a young Bryan Abreu, who strikes out 3 through 2 innings. Cionel Perez completes the shutout for a massive double win against our division rivals.
