As fun as it is to fantasize about getting Saquon, an elite RB does not make an elite rushing attack.

I really don't understand the obsession with signing a high end FA RB. Yes Saquon is obviously a really good back, but are you completely sure that he alone will fix all the problems with our rushing attack? There's so much more that goes into scheming up a productive running game than just having an elite RB.

On top of that, history has not been kind to teams that sign expensive FA RBs. Yes CMC has worked out for the 49ers, but that's mostly because CMC is a one of a kind greatest of all time level player, and the 49ers already had a loaded team when the traded for him.

I also see people on here saying we could sign Saquon for cheap. I really doubt he will accept a contract for anything less than what Jonathan Taylor got. That would put him at $15+ million a year.
