As a Texans fan that’s also a Manchester United fan, the Deshaun Watson situation feels a lot like the Paul Pogba situation.

If you aren’t a world football fan, Paul Pogba can be described as one of the best talents in the sport, but also plays for a club that has underachieved since he arrived. Pogba, like Deshaun, is in the prime of his career and is a very flashy person. Throughout the years, Paul Pogba has been rumored to have been wanting a transfer to another club. His agent Mino Riola, who is one of the most toxic agents in world soccer, has continuously made statements to newspapers and the media saying that his client wants a transfer. However, Pogba has stayed with Manchester United, even though his agent has made those statements.

EDIT: My point is: Even though an agent and the media says something, the club/organization doesn’t have to move the player at all. As much as I think Deshaun should be traded because no one can waste a talent like this, I feel that the organization will not trade him due to how much he is worth to them. Trading a franchise player like Deshaun would cripple the franchise in jersey sales and such as. Then again, if the franchise is crippled financially then the McNair’s will hopefully sell the team.
