Are there resources/a way to find a family or someone in the local area who is genuinely in dyer need of support?

My husband and I as well as my dad feel extremely blessed to be ‘essential’ (air traffic control and a truck driver) we want to somewhat pay it forward to someone that needs and deserves a break. We’re not really wanting a large corporation type thing that keeps profits. Any ideas?
