Are there fans that deny that we cheated?

Yes I know r/baseball is super hypocritical and loves bashing us despite dozens of other teams cheated, but I often see things like “and your fans deny the team even cheated!”

Maybe I’m missing those posts or something but had to ask because I see the accusation often.

I feel that “denying it” and “sticking up for the team” are two different things. So am I just missing something?

A few times when I have seen that accusation, I’ve genuinely asked the poster where they saw someone say that, because I would happily chat with that person about why they deny it happened, but it’s always resulted in “I don’t and I’m not going to waste time looking back for it”.

Is that just an agenda by the rest of the mlb community or are you guys seeing others totally deny we cheated?
