Are HCC classes easier than UH and A&M?

Want to go to HCC first year of college to knock out all my first-year credits. So I was wondering if it's worth it because I was told the professors aren't that good, so don't want it to affect my GPA (for ETAM). However, I've also heard that community college classes tend to be easier.
