Are air to surface fish missiles the norm in Houston, or am I just seeing things?

Early this morning I'm on my first floor balcony just minding my own business at sunrise. And I hear a loud splat next to me. I look over and it's like a large glob of viscuss water had managed to somehow come at a perfect angle to make it to my patio, during a relatively cloud free morning, and land perfectly on my patio.

Upon looking closer, that wasn't a seed or debris in that glob of water, it was a god damn small fish — tadpole, maybe. I couldn't tell because it clearly didn't survive the fall from heaven.

Am I under attack? WTF just happened?
