Appliance stores????

I am not in Houston, but helping an elderly person replace a washer and dryer there. Since I don't have boots on the ground, it is hard for me to get a sense of customer service without talking to sales people face to face. I need a company that A: is fairly price; and B: has great installation/customer service. The installers will need patience with this person as they are rather headstrong due to chronic physical pain. I know this isn't something that I can pick and choose as far as people who actually installs the items – but a support team that I could explain the person to so to ease any possible problems would be great. Could I get recommendations please? Lowes, Home Depot, Conns, small mom and pop? And thank you. (And if you have a brand you love, a shout out there would be appreciated too. Consumer guides seem to be all over the place.)
