Apartment recommendations in NW and W Houston with community activities

I am looking to meet people/neighbors, so I want an apartment complex which does activities like monthly socials, and hosts parties/gatherings for super bowl, Christmas, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to stay close to Spring Branch. My budget is around $1500-1700 for a one bedroom, nearby grocery, some eateries, etc.
