apartment hunting downtown/midtown near metro rail

Hey all, hoping to get some insight on apartment buildings in downtown or midtown. Ideally I’d like to live somewhere a few blocks from the red line metro stop so that i can take it to work. Any insight on living in either location or taking the train as a means to get to work is greatly appreciated. Would love comments about noise, parking, safety, and general living amenities.

I’ve looked into 1810 Main, Camden Mcgowen Station, and The Travis, among others.
