Hello! I posted here before about looking for an apartment in Houston. I’m a Canadian who will be moving to Houston to work at Rice Uni this Fall.

I visited Houston this week and really enjoyed my time there.

I got the chance to tour many apartments. I looked at garden style, high rises and mid rises. I thought my budget of $1400 was good but whatever I found and liked was over $1600. I was looking for studio or one bedrooms with a secured garage for parking and good reviews on Google.

I like two apartments. One in Montrose and a high rise in Galleria. One leasing agent told me to careful around the Galleria area because it’s known for trafficking. Is that true?

Would love to know your thoughts.
