Apache Corp. plans Texas layoffs
Houston-based Apache Corp. is planning a round of layoffs in Midland, Texas.
The oil and gas exploration and production company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter with the state saying that Apache plans to conduct a “mass layoff” at its 303 Veterans Airpark Lane facility in Midland. About 85 employees are affected, with the separation process beginning March 18, according to the WARN letter, which the Texas Workforce Commission released March 20.
