Anyone work at Houston Metro know how long it takes to get hired?

I applied at USPS and still waiting for that but I know that takes a while to get hired.

So I'm applying for other stuff and you an Email from Houston Metro that I'm moving to the next staffing review phase. I did go to a job fair last week and spoke with a guy but forgot to put his name in.

I'm wondering how long until I get hired to see if I should still keep applying or not.

I have enough money to last me a month or two so that's why I'm asking.
