Anyone remember 2017?

2017 was a wild year for Houston, but especially for Houston sports. It all cumulated in two main events that happened within days (literally).

On November 1, 2017 the Astros won their first championship in franchise history. The city was going nuts… for good reason. Everyone was feeling great.

24 hours later, on November 2, 2017 we all got a notification on our phone – "Deshaun Watson suffers torn ACL during practice." We had approximately 24 hours of true sports happiness in this city before that. And we all know the stories that came after for both teams.

Now we all wait for the correa decision and the watson trade to happen at the same time. Something deep down in me has a really bad feeling about of all of this. That's all.
