Anyone noticed a bunch of Texas ducks taking refuge in the Houston Zoo?

I went to the zoo a month ago, and I'm seeing ducks not part of the exhibits just chilling in a lot o f them. Does anyone know what type of ducks they are and are they native or invasive? I've only recently seen them just the past few years.
