Anyone know of lawyers successful in suing Harris County Jail?

I was an inmate there in the summer of 2020 and forced to work in the kitchen. (yes forced, I tried to refuse and they told me I had to go or I'd be thrown in the 'shitter') When I went down there it was s**t show and they had me making hot dogs that are all boiled in a huge vat. It was me and one other guy (cooking for nearly 10,000 inmates), neither of us were properly trained, got any proper safety equipment, nothing. While he was tipping the vat of boiled hot dogs over into a pan that would go on the serving line the pan was not secured and fell on my leg giving me 2nd degree burns on my leg and foot.

Now I'm trying to see if I can get any sort of lawsuit against HCSO for putting me in this position with no training and without proper safety equipment against my will. I still have the scars on my leg and foot, but no pictures from the initial incident. I know they did a full incident report at the jail because some higher ups asked me a bunch of questions afterwards about how it happened, what could have prevented it, etc. They wouldn't give me any documentation while I was there that I could send to a lawyer. To make it worse every night I had to go to medical to get my wound dressing changed out and got put into a holding cell with a guy who had shingles. Guess who eneded up with shingles (in my eye of all places) a few days later.

Anyway I'm trying to find a lawyer who isn't scared to sue HCSO. I'm hoping to get somone to take the case on contingency, but if not I'm willing to pay.
