Anyone in the Spring/Woodlands area have at&t fiber internet? Is it as ‘good’ as advertised?

For the first time in my life I have to get an internet connection on my own and the at&t fiber plan seems to fit my needs just fine. Online reviews however lead me to think that at&t is awful and I should stay far away from them. Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!
