Anyone fear the sophomore slump?

I've been a day 1 fan so I've seen the few ups to the many downs on the Rollercoaster we call the Texans. That said I'm starting to like this team more than the "glory days" of Andre, Arian, Owen Daniels and bulls on parade defense, I didn't think was even possible and have converted almost all my friend to having the Texans be their 2nd favorite/AFC team so I get lots of healthy discussion.

My friends are all high on Houston next year, obviously, with the way last year went and off-season has gone (so far) keeping the staff together atleast. I on the other hand feel a big let down year coming up due to a few things, but mostly:

• our schedule is murderers row
• we won't surprise anyone this year -CJ/Demeco will have more tape on him to get "figured" out
• we outperformed by so much last year I feel like we will regress to the mean

If any team can do it, it's these new Texans, but I've had my hopes and dreams crushed so so so many times before. Someone inject me with some hope we continue this amazing trajectory
