Anyone ever have their Metro Card stolen?

I'm losing my faith in people. Lost a wallet on the metro, it happens, but I've got a DL in there, I've got my phone number and email taped to it. I've got my address in it. People should either make an effor to contact the owner, or at least to contact a bus driver, right? Nope. This ******** just started using my Metro card. Should I pursue this? Every bus has cameras, right? Or should I just drive downtown and freeze the card?
