Anyone else get clobbered by homeowners insurance?

Our rate has gone from $2500/yr to $8200/year from 2019 to now. I've done some cursory shopping around and a number of home insurers seem to mention that Harris County and Houston are too high of a risk to insure now. This isn't for a crazy house or anything, just your normal suburban home.
