Anybody have fishing recommendations around Memorial Heights area?

I want to go fishing here and I’ve seen people doing just that in buffalo bayou around the running/biking trails. I was thinking I’d use rooster tails to try and catch bass? Or maybe I could use some smelly chicken hearts or something to catch catfish?
