Any update on Jake?

The last update we got was on August 12, saying he was working out in West Palm Beach, increasing his running and hitting, and would start defensive work soon. At that point, he was “getting close to game action.”

He originally went on the 10-day IL on July 11 with a right calf strain, and the expected return was supposed to be sometime in August.

Since then, nothing. Does anyone know why there’s been no recent update? Is his recovery taking longer than expected? Will he even be back in time for the regular season?
