Any stories from the 60s-80s about the energy corridor area?

I’d like to hear from people who grew up in this area, specifically the area surrounding the Dairy Ashford Roller Rink lol, I’m sure it was mostly rural, though. If you have pictures as well I’d love to see them! I grew up around that area and was always curious what it was like before I was born seeing as most of the houses and stuff seemed to have built up in the 60s and onward.
