Any oldtimers (like me) remember Penny Net?

Penny Net was a text based chat system that you'd dial in on a modem, launch a terminal program, and chat with whoever was in the main chat – then branch off into the sub chats and/or private chats. I found it in the early 80's (1983, 1984 ish), and, as the name suggests, it cost a penny a minute to be connected to the service – billed to your phone line.
