Any non-melted places to shoot?

I'm a Texan. I grew up with guns. I own guns. I enjoy plinking, but I don't enjoy having shitty politics shoved down my throat just because I want to practice.

Why do people presume that just because someone owns a gun, they think kids are getting sex changes at school?

So, it there anyplace that I can go shoot that doesn't expect customers to have brain worms?
