Any new updates on the 45-S closure at 1960?

I’m familiar with the reasoning and the two year timeline to reconstruct the bridge, but have there been any updates on installing some kind of temporary exit so traffic is not constantly gridlocked for several miles? Last I saw was a Houston Chronicle article with some quotes from Constable Herman.

Drove on 45-N today and looking at all that southbound traffic… that’s just not sustainable for the length of time they need to complete their project.
