Any local organizations able to help me throughout the new year?

I am located in Southwest Houston and hitched a ride here a few weeks ago to escape a rough situation. Is there any organizations or churches that will be providing assistance throughout any time during 2024 even if you are just renting out a room from someone? I do not make enough to be able to afford groceries right now, so food pantries would be nice! I have no car to get around as well, so I'm just looking for anything that could help!
