Any good places to study near Rice University or TMC?

I'm a visiting student in the area and looking for a quiet place to study and get some work done. Would prefer to have cheap parking if available. I'm aware that Rice has a $3 deal in Greenbriar parking lot. Was wondering if there are other hidden spots within campus or within TMC that would be conducive to having work done.
