Any game shops with regular "how to paint miniatures" classes?

Tried poking around, but couldn't find anything with a regular schedule. Some of "Games Workshops" allegedly hold them, but nothing is posted on any calendars.

Just want to try learning to paint D&D miniatures with someone experienced in a group setting before I drop money on a bunch of paints. Northwest parts of the city preferred but not a requirement.
