Any cheap/reasonable local auto mechanic in Katy or nearby?

So I’m a college and I do know little to none about fixing car. Ive got my engine check light on and as far as The codes say Ive got a cylinder misfire but I’m afraid to be ripped off by mechanics since there’s different types of people and I can’t afford high expenses atm. Any suggestion/reference would be much appreciated. Thank you!
