Any Baylor College of Medicine employees on here? Check that was suppose to go to the BCMFCU was possibly cashed by BCM.

Tried to do a balance transfer. A couple months ago, Capital One was suppose to send a check to Baylor College of Medicine Federal Credit Union for a balance transfer. It got sent to Baylor College of Medicine. Credit Union never received the check. Capital One claims they can not look into it any further since the check has already been cashed. However, after several calls they are now opening ANOTHER investigation that will take 10-30 days. I have no faith that they will resolve this. I have a copy of the front/back of the cancelled check so I know when it was cashed and that it went to a JP Morgan Chase account. I am looking for contact info for a department (accounting? ) who might be able to help me find out what happened. I have not had any worthwhile responses to posts to r/legaladvice or r/personalfinance. Every Baylor College of Medicine number I have found on line has led to a dead end. I would be very grateful if someone could just point me to the Baylor Department that cashes checks received.

Both Baylor College of Medicine Federal Credit Union and Capital One have given me the run around for the past few months.
