Any advice on the Pomona community? We are looking to build there.

We are thinking of buying our first house and really liked the Pomona community. I know the school district isnt the best but they have decent pricing on new construction homes and like that it is close to Shadow Creek Ranch in Pearland. Our realtor said its a decent area that also fits our budget.
