Another Cal/Easterby comparison. Theon Greyjoy and Ramsey Bolton or Reek
I keep hearing about LOTR's comparison of Wormtongue and King Theodin, but I feel it's unfair for Theodin, a great king turned lazy. It is more like GoT with Cal McNair as Theon Greyjoy and Easterby as Ramsey Bolton.
Theon Greyjoy is the heir of the Iron Throne, the only son of the King. His character always think he is the s**t despite having no achievements besides his birth. This makes him easy to manipulate to those who suck up to him from whores to underlings.
Jack Easterby is Ramsey Bolton, a conniving POS who relishes in torture. In GoT or in the books, Ramsey decides to kidnap and force a third party, Lady Hornwood to marry him thus giving him those lands. Sir Rodrick of Winterfell, goes over to kick his ass so Ramsey lives by pretending to be a slave named Reek and gets taken prisoner at Winterfell.
With the backgrounds out of the way, what happens next is that Theon takes over Winterfell with 20 men. There he finds Reek/Ramsey Bolton who he takes into his confidence. Ramsey lies and says he will go to the Dreadfort and come back with him to help Theon. Theon allows him, so Ramsey goes and does just that except he brings his men to slaughter everyone else. Now Theon is taken captive and Ramsey Bolton gets bored and tortures Theon to break him and makes him the slave Reek.
So right now Easterby/Bolton has broken Cal McNair/Theon Greyjoy/New Reek. Cal is now Easterby's pet dog.
