Announcing bringing snacks& bake goods to the office?
Hey guys, I got an intern position and after one year they will decide if they’ll enrol me or not…
I starter 3 weeks ago, everyone was nice and communicative then they shut down, they started avoiding me and acting like I dont exist… colleagues, directors, ects..SOMEBODY SAID SOMETHING BAD ABOUT ME, I kept a low profile, but it started hurting me noticing how they gaze at me, acting like they’re disturbed if I had to interact with them. Nothing had happened that I’m aware of that would justify that… I talked to my director, requested a feedback meeting to see if I’m doing my task as I’m requested, and to test what bothers everyone.
My enrollment is dependent on how I do, and everyones feedback, I need ti interact with others and learn from their experience..
So I bought some cup cake from target(dont know any good bakery in this Houston)-embarrassed to ask about this- but I knida need them to know I brought it..
Should I put it casually in the coffee room in the morning with a casual note? Or announce it in the work whatsapp group ? They could easily not know about it as they’ll be all morning working on a project in another floor.. And If I put it in the lunch break it is the time they’ll probably celebrate the chief birthday and I don’t want to look like an ass kisser!
Help 😂
