Animeverse Fest Groupon Coupon Question

Hi, I plan on attending Animeverse Fest event in Houston that is coming up this February and buying Saturday Passes for the event.
I saw that Groupon also sells tickets with a discount and wanted to know if any of you all know whether Groupon is a trustworthy site for tickets for Animeverse Fest, or if Groupon, in general, is trustworthy for purchasing anime conventions tickets or other types of tickets when they have a discount.

Any feedback would be very appreciated, I haven't used Groupon before and wasn't sure about if I made a purchase through it, the tickets would be allowed at Animeverse Fest. Thank you so much!
