American White Ibis!

A White Ibis has taken up residence in my yard for the last few days. He is quite busy poking around for things to eat. Doesn't seem to me that my yard is an optimal place for him to forage. Willow Waterhole is 3 miles down the road with 300 acres of lakes, marsh, and greenspace. I'd think that would be a better hang out but I respect his life choices.

"White ibises primarily eat crustaceans, especially crayfish and crabs, but their diet also includes insects, fish, frogs, snails, and snakes. They use their long, curved bills to probe in mud and water for food, and they'll also eat terrestrial prey like worms and lizards."
