amazing eats between Houston and Dallas

Meeting family for the first time post COVID somewhere between Houston and Dallas. Looking for awesome places to eat. Doesn’t have to be in the middle.

Waco is a possibility but don’t need to do the Magnolia thing. Considering Corsicana too. Just would like something delicious and I’m not seeing anything aside from the Collin Bakery and maybe Sams BBQ?
