Amateur Sumo Wrestling in Houston!

I know this is a bit out of the box and off the wall but… YES, we do have amateur Sumo Wrestling in Houston!

Here is some of my sparring matches a few days ago, I started to have to tape my right big toe due to spraining it twice in 1 month during training, you could hear a loud snap across the entire gym when it happened!

I just wanted to share this, there's still so much more we have to work on, we're trying to seriously ramp up practice so that we can be competitive, especially because in December there will be a tournament in Vegas, and those who qualify will represent the US in Poland for an international tournament!

I usually share this stuff to my Instagram, but every now and then I like to share it on Reddit too 🙂
