Hi, y'all! I'm Bao Ong, the restaurant critic for the Houston Chronicle, and I'm here to answer your questions about our picks for Houston's Top 100 Restaurants for this AMA.

The Chronicle’s Top 100 Restaurants list debuted in 2012 under former critic Alison Cook. This year marks the first list without Cook at the helm. I stepped into the role of restaurant critic earlier this year and spearheaded this project.
