Am I wrong for being encouraged by this performance?

I know soccer isn't decided by XG or posession. Basketball isn't decided by having better looks than the other team. And Football isn't decided by having more yards than your opponent. With this being said, as CJ Stroud said post-game, I was encouraged by our performance. This is actually the best playoff performance we've ever put up in the divisional round. In every other game, we can say we got outclassed or the other team was just more deserving, but in this game we more than held our own and got unlucky. CJ made some great throws. Our defense is elite. O-Line needs an upgrade BADLY, but I think we showed that we belong at this stage. Am I crazy for thinking this?
