Am I crazy or did 94.5 The Buzz almost turn to a Spanish station several years ago?

Call me crazy. I told my wife that I remember hearing about this years ago that The Buzz was almost switched to a completely different format but I can't seem to find anything about it online.

Am I going crazy though? Anyone else remember this? Conflating things that didn't happen as I'm getting older?
