Am I crazy for thinking this is a good commute?

I’m not familiar with the metro bus safety and punctuality, but in an effort to save money I’m thinking about taking our public transit to a new job I’m considering. Aside from the 42min walk (which I would bike) Am I off the crack pipe or am I on to something??
