Alternatives to Boheme bar in Montrose / River Oaks / Heights area?

I love Boheme for its food, open patio, and fire performances etc. Is there a similar bar with good food where it's possible to have a conversation with friends?

I adore Axelrad's vibe but want to have more than just pizza. TIA!!
