Alright hear me out on this…

I am fully aware that I may have the torches and pitchforks broken out for posting this but here’s a thought-

Jalen Carter was going to the top pick before he got in trouble. Then the talk was that he was going to plummet down boards.

Now it seems like everyone is saying that the NFL is probably going to give him a pass on the issues and he will still be taken high. Going so far as to say that the Eagles are trying to trade up from 10 to grab him if he makes it passed Seattle at 5.

When he is taken the story is going to be what a steal he was to get the best player in the draft at whatever position he was taken.

If the traditionally smart teams like the Seahawks and Eagles would be lauded for making the move….. why wouldn’t the Texans just take him at 2?
